Shelley C. Wilson is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate, a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a private practice in Newport Beach, CA. In addition to her private practice, she is an adjunct professor in the MFT/LPCC program at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Shelley’s counseling framework has always included a focus on worthiness and authenticity as well as resilience to both fear and shame.
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. During the group process, topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness are explored. The participants examine the thoughts, emotions, and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
