Hotel California by the Sea’s evidence-based treatment programs are designed with the importance of individualized care in mind when it comes to drug and drug and alcohol rehab treatment. Therefore, our drug and alcohol rehab programs provide varying levels of care so that everyone receives the support they need to recover. An individual-focused inpatient rehab and outpatient substance abuse treatment center is able to deliver an above average success rate.
Drug and Alcohol Rehab Levels of Care
Length of stay at each level of care in our drug and alcohol rehab facility will depend on medical necessity and individual need for each person. Some individuals may require round the clock monitoring at the beginning of their stay, such as inpatient rehab or residential substance abuse treatment. Other clients might start treatment at a lower level of care, such as outpatient substance abuse treatment. The levels of care at our Orange County, California drug and alcohol rehab include:
- Detoxification / Withdrawal Management (DTX).
- Residential Treatment (RTC).
- Partial Hospitalization (PHP).
- Intensive Outpatient (IOP).
- Outpatient (OP) and continuing care.
Hotel California by the Sea’s safe, structured, and caring treatment environment provides our clients with the best opportunity to achieve and maintain long-term sobriety and recover from addiction, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center Treatment
Hotel California by the Sea recognizes that not every patient is the same. Our Substance Abuse Treatment Programs
Detoxification Services at Inpatient Rehab
At this inpatient rehab level of care, individuals are treated for about 5-7 days, depending on medical necessity and the drug or drugs they’re detoxing from. Our inpatient rehab clinical team uses initial and ongoing evaluations to best determine Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medication management. Therapeutic services may also be provided to patients in this level of inpatient rehab care, such as individual therapy, case management sessions, and group counseling.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Treatment For Substance Abuse
PHP is an outpatient day-based substance abuse treatment program designed for those transitioning from higher levels of care, such as detox or residential who no longer require the round the clock care they would in an inpatient rehab setting.
During this step of drug and alcohol rehab, individuals receive the same therapeutic interventions as residential treatment. However, at the end of the day, they return home or to a sober living environment.
Residential/Inpatient Rehab (RTC)
Those in residential treatment still receive round-the-clock support in a monitored setting, as well as medication management. In this level of care, clients reside at our facility 24/7 while our clinical team treats clients. In this phase, there is a greater emphasis on therapeutic interventions. The individual’s health will begin to improve, and the client may pass the acute withdrawal stage.
Along with individual psychiatry and psychology visits, there are family therapy, group therapy, and case management sessions. Group therapy topics may range from trauma/grief/loss processing to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness exercises, and addiction/mental health education.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment For Substance Use Disorders
Intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) is a form of substance abuse treatment offered as a day or evening program, typically lasting around 3 hours a day. IOP is designed for individuals transitioning from PHP, as well as those who have maintained sobriety.
Clients usually begin participating in IOP 5 days a week. They are eventually titrated down to 3 days a week for smooth integration into daily life. Clients in IOP are provided with individual therapy, psychiatry visits, and group therapy for continuing care.
Our gender and age-specific drug and alcohol rehab programs are well-established and designed for those struggling with an addiction to drugs or alcohol and other co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression.
Although there are many similarities between men, women, and young adults struggling with addiction and mental health conditions, there are also significant differences that our addiction treatment programs address according to age and gender. These differences range from the biological effects of abusing substances, the social and familial repercussions of addiction, the impact of substances on one’s body, and, eventually, the client’s treatment plan.
