The Residential drug rehab program for young adults takes into account the specific issues that young people have when they enter treatment. If our assessment shows that the young woman or man requires detox, then we supervise that phase of recovery before they move to our drug rehab for young adults program. Our residential programs are separate men and women in separate residences, and we follow all gender-specific guidelines in the process.
During this phase of recovery, young adults will work with a personal case manager who will look at their needs and personality in order to implement at treatment plan that is in keeping with ASAM standards. Not only do we have chiropractors, psychiatrists, and medical professionals on staff—we also have a full-time chef, massage therapist, and offer fun, interesting experiential therapies like surfing and sailing.
Relapse prevention is a part of this program. This can mean one-on-one counseling when the treatment teams sees red flags that might signal a relapse, or a sober companion for help attending social events during this important part of recovery.
We will also help our clients find local 12-Step programs and recovery communities and arrange for transportation back and forth to the meetings. Once a young person leaves our residential treatment facility, we also have intensive outpatient programs if it is deemed necessary.
