What Do I Bring?

Southern California has the most consistently beautiful weather in the country. The average temperature is 65-75 degrees. Clients are encouraged to bring comfortable clothing that is easily layered, gym clothes, sandals and a bathing suit. Electronic MP3 players, laptops, tablet computers, cell phones, and other devices are welcome. If a client finds themselves in need of additional items, we will gladly arrange for a staff member take them to pick up any other necessary items. Please note that clients should ensure that their toiletry products do not contain alcohol.

May I Use Mobile Electronics?

We understand that staying connected is important to you. Our clients may keep their mobile phone and other electronics such as a laptop and/or tablet while they are in treatment. In order to prevent them from becoming a distraction, Hotel California By The Sea and the clients determine the appropriate time frame for these privileges.

What Insurance Do You Accept?

Hotel California By The Sea is compatible with most insurance carriers. Please contact the Admissions department to discuss insurance benefits and possible changes due to the Affordable Care Act.

Am I Allowed Visitors?

Yes! Family and other loved ones are an important part of the healing process. Clients are encouraged to have visitation and are allowed passes from the program. All requests for either need to be submitted to the Treatment Team for approval.
